The S. D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation supports a number of important Center initiatives:  the annual report on California's teacher workforce, the analysis and posting of our workforce data on our website; support for research and strategic communications on elementary science teaching in California; and a comprehensive statewide analysis of middle and high school course-taking patterns in math and science.

The Noyce Foundation aims to help young people become curious, thoughtful, and engaged learners. The Noyce Foundation focuses on a few key areas: improving the teaching of math, science and literacy in public schools, developing leadership to support student achievement, education policy and research, and finally, on expanding opportunities for students to experience hands-on science in out-of-school settings. The Noyce Foundation

The Noyce Foundation supports the Center's statewide analysis of middle and high school course-taking patterns in math and science. This research will further the understanding of math and science pathways and the impact of school assignments on the academic success of students, fulfillment of A-G requirements, and eligibility for public universities in California.

Strategic Partners

We are also indebted to a variety of other philanthropic and educational policy organizations that have supported the Center’s activities in the past:
