The Center for the Future of Teaching and Learning is a public, not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening teacher development policy and practice. Established in 1995, the Center is pleased to have received support from a number of foundations and businesses over the years. Because the Center receives no federal or state funding in support of our research, communications, or primary initiatives, our commitment and ability to develop unbiased, research-based information on the status of the teaching profession in California is dependent upon the contributions of individuals, foundations and businesses.
